Seitokai Yukuindomo (生徒会役員共, Seitokai Yakuindomo) is a 13-episode anime TV series produced by GoHands and directed by Hiromitsu Kanazawa aired in Japan between July 4 and September 26, 2010 on TV Kanagawa. The anime began airing at later dates on Chiba TV, TV Saitama, Sun TV, KBS, Tokyo MX, TV Aichi, and AT-X. A second 13- episode season titled Seitokai Yukuindomo *, aired between January 4 and March 29, 2014.
Six BD/DVD volumes were released between August 4 and October 27, 2010. Certain scenes in the anime were censored for broadcast on TV, but the BD/DVD releases have the option of turning the majority of the censoring on or off. An original video animation episode of the anime was shipped with the limited edition of the fifth volume of the manga, released on April 15, 2011. Further episodes kept releasing with the limited edition, continuing season 1. After season 2 ended, further episode were again bundled with limited edition of manga volumes.
Plot[]
Ousai Private Academy, due to declining birth rates, has transitioned from an all-girls high school to a co-ed. The current ratio of male to female students is 28:524. In this "paradise", Takatoshi Tsuda is unceremoniously pushed into the job as vice-president of the student council. The student council has a very strict image. However, the female council members are less than orthodox...
Shino Amakusa, council president, is a stickler for rules, and likes to violently enforce them. Suzu Hagimura, the council treasurer is an excessively under-tall girl with an IQ of 180, who likes heights to be able to look down on others. And finally, Aria Shichijou, the council secretary, is a well-meaning airhead with a slightly perverted streak.
